axolotl: cleanup leftovers from BSP bringup

This removes lots of legacy leftovers, like:
  - rootdir symlinks (not supported, not needed)
  - service definitions for unused and non-existant services
  - unneeded init scripts
  - obsolete mkdirs, chowns, chmods
